The Fundamentals of Drawing course focuses on the essential elements and principles of drawing. Lessons are enriched by references to Art Historical Masters as well as contemporary artworks, offering both inspiration and context.

This immersive course is designed for beginners and established artists alike who wish to develop or refine their drawing skills.

Throughout the program, students explore core principles such as gesture, measurement and proportion, tone, one-point perspective, mark making, and composition. Working with charcoal, pencil, and ink, each class has a specific aim designed to build technical confidence and visual understanding while deepening observation and creative expression.
