The Fundamentals of Painting course focuses on the essential elements and principles of painting. Lessons are enriched by images from Art Historical Masters as well as contemporary artworks, providing visual context and inspiration.

This immersive course is designed for both beginners and established artists.

Throughout the program, students explore key principles such as proportions of the figure, understanding tone, techniques of painting grounds, brushwork, oil painting mediums, colour theory, and composition. Each class has a specific aim, designed to build skills progressively while deepening the understanding of painting techniques and visual expression.
