Filbert & Chisel is a professional art studio founded and led by Michelle Kriek, a professional artist with a Master of Arts in Fine Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand. Michelle has also studied Art in Italy and has been a practicing artist and teacher for over 18 years.

Her Somerset West studio provides an inspiring, creative, and supportive environment where artists can grow, explore, and refine their skills. The studio is a home for both beginners and established artists, offering a space that nurtures artistic investigation and personal expression.

In addition to in-studio classes, Michelle offers online workshops, allowing students to experience expert guidance and interactive learning from the comfort of their own homes.
